November 20th There Will Be a New Moon

I know ur a Twilight fan! As you must already know, the "saga" continues on November 20th with New Moon. Word is advanced screenings are already old out! It's crazy and its a phenomenon!

So that being said..... what happens to the main actors in the saga after its all over?! I had a chance to ask Kjarlune Rae, Canada's Top Clairvoyant (since she's a massive fan as well) which actor or actress would have the biggest career post-Twilight. And the winner is.......

Kristen Stewart!!

I always thought she was a little weird and awkward off camera, but there it is. Maybe she'll end up as the hottest new actress to grace the covers of romantic comedies like Meg Ryan from the 80's and 90's, and Jennifer Aniston from the last little while!

And who knows about Tayor Lautner.... He'll be the ripe old age of 26 in 10 years.. LOL!

What To Look For In A Mate

When looking for "the one" you may want to look for the one that has the same flaws as you!

I'm a big believer in opposites attract. I really wouldn't want to date someone that is exactly like me. That would be weird. I don't mean people with the same interests, but people with the exact same personality. I'm sure it would drive me nuts!

That being said, I DO recommend you date someone with the same flaws. Picture it.......

"Babe, I'm so mad at you. You're LATE!" "Babe, you can't be mad at me! You're always late too!" "Ohhhh....you're right."

Now that is a functional relationship! You could never get mad about the other's flaws! What's left to fight about! You can now live in total bliss, being late for everything together! Love works in mysterious ways! LOL

Cleaning Before You Clean?!

So I had the funniest conversation today with my neighbour. I use a maid to clean my house. Its a choice. I keep the place tidy, but I don’t do the bathroom, or floors, or dust.....should I continue?! Lol

So I have the maid coming and I ask my neighbour if she’d like him to clean her place. First thing she says is yes, but that she has to clean her place first. I laughed out loud!!! A cleaning before a cleaning! Doesn’t that defeat the purpose?!! Its like giving 110%! It’s not possible. Once something is clean, its CLEAN!!!The conversation then went on to her not wanting the maid to see her underwear. I couldn’t help but chime in the fact that the maid is gay! Would the panty issue still be a problem? At that point she backed up her argument by stating that in that case, she didn’t want him wearing them! HAHA!

So, the cleaning before the cleaning! Must be a female thing. I won’t even bother walking to the washroom if I know the maid is coming the next day! Ha! Joke!

PS: Would a guy be known as a maid?! Or just the cleaning guy?
Does that change if he’s gay?! LOL

Rising Price of Wiper Fluid

You thought gas was expensive?!

I bought windshield washer wiper fluid at the gas station today for 5 bucks!!! 5 bucks!!! I remember when it was a buck! And the stuff was sold out because of the weather we've been having of course!

I need to get into that business! LOL

So with the container being about 2 litres, its approx. $2.50 a litre. Gas is around 80 cents a litre. And people complain about gas?!

The wiper fluid should wash my whole car for that much! HAHA

Twilight: Movie Review

Twilight, Twilight, Twilight. Neither me or any of my guy friends have ever heard of this book or movie. Yet every female I know seems to be obsessed. That being considered, I'm quite shocked that I'd never heard of this at all!

So I saw the movie last night, without having read the book, or having any idea about the movie...... and I was entertained.

I felt like I was at the premiere of the 4th Star Wars movie. Instead of being in a theatre full of nerdy guys, I was in a room of bright eyed girls..... but the energy was the same. You could feel it vibrating through the room.

Truth be told, I slept through the first 10 minutes....LOL. But the rest was good enough to keep me awake!

Twilight is the classic story of forbidden love. Think Romeo and Juliet for vampires. Thankfully, the movie kept a good pace. It developed the characters enough, without letting it drag on. Another massive theme was protection. I'm talking about the ultimate protection for the one that you love. Protection from you, as well as protection from the outside world. And with that protection come ultimate trust. Can she trust that she will always be protected. Think about that..... as far as I'm concerned, you can't have true love without protection and trust, and that's what this movie portrays for these two.

The movie was quite stylised as well, with a very cold colour pallet and cool camera work.

Some parts got pretty "fromage", but it didn't take away too much.

Then there was the moment before the first kiss between vampire boy and human girl. You could feel the anticipation in the room. It was all quite amusing for me actually. Every single female in the audience was holding their breath.... then BANG! Climax! Literally and figuratively! LOL

So guys... take your women to this movie. Like I said, I could sense how hot and bothered every woman in the room was. Not to mention there's a few good action scenes and a few laughs to keep the men entertained.

Plus vampire boy is a crazy good driver.... (I'm in love with Audi now!)

Twilight gets a 8.5 on 10 on the Tripp Scale!

Film Review: Saw 5

First off, I'm a huge horror film fan. And I don't often listen to critics when it comes to those types of movies......

They are what they are, and that's why I like them! And I've always like the Saw series.

Compared to other horror film series, this one actually ties together with it's predecessors. You can kind of tell that it was written backwards, as in they have to make up some back story to fit the current story.

So Saw is all about the death sequences right..... RIGHT! Well, they didn't disappoint! Let's just say they were even given a bit of a twist, so that was a nice change!

You know what though.... I almost dare to say that I'm not getting that grossed out anymore with these movies. I cool storyline does keep these Saw movies somewhat fresh though.

I suggest if you're a Saw fan, and I know there are a ton out there considering how much money this film series has made (the first Saw was supposed to be direct to DVD) you will continue to enjoy the series..... You know, the series where the good guys never win! HA!
